Cake-Like Chocolate Chip Cinnabars Recipe

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/3 cup honey
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup (6 ounces) miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Grease 8 or 9-inch square pan and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
3. Add honey and vanilla and blend well.
4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Add flour, cinnamon, salt and baking powder and mix until thoroughly combined.
6. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
7. Spread batter in prepared pan in an even layer.
8. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
9. Remove pan from oven and allow to cool completely on wire rack.
10. Cut bars into desired size and shape.
