Chocolate M&M Crackles

If you're looking for an easy chocolate cookie recipe with M&M's, you might want to try this variation on chocolate crinkle cookies (also known as crackles).

More traditional chocolate crinkles are rolled in powdered sugar, but this recipe has you roll the cookie dough in granulated sugar - like when you're making peanut butter blossoms.

The granulated sugar adds a nice almost "crust-like" contrast to the soft and chewy cookie inside.

Just be careful not to overbake or else you will end up with hardened cookies!

We haven't tried this variation yet, but it seems that replacing the mini M&M's with Reese's Pieces might make one amazing and tasty cookie.

Be sure to read through the recipe thoroughly before starting - the dough for these cookies needs to be refrigerated at least 2 hours before baking.
