Easy Peanut Butter Cup Brownies


Here's a simple recipe for peanut butter cup brownies that you're sure to love.

Not only does this winning recipe have chopped up peanut butter cups (yummy!) but it also starts with a package of fudge brownie mix.

What could be easier? Or taste better?

Combine the delicious brownie mix with peanuts, chocolate chips, creamy peanut butter, crispy rice cereal, and everyone's favorite peanut butter cups and you've got you're very own homemade brownie candy bar!

Peanut Butter Cup Brownies Recipe

  • 1 package fudge brownie mix
  • 12 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts, chopped
  • 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/4 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the brownie mix according to package instructions. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  4. Remove pan from oven and sprinkle peanut butter cups and peanuts over the top. Return pan to oven for 4 to 6 more minutes or until chocolate is melted.
  5. Remove from oven and cool pan on a wire rack.
  6. In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, butter and salt. Stir constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  7. Remove saucepan from the heat and stir in cereal and vanilla.
  8. Spread melted chocolate mixture evenly over brownies.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting.

This recipe yields about 36 Peanut Butter Cup Brownies.
